As the Northern Hemisphere transitions into Winter and the Southern Hemisphere transitions into Summer, we’re left with the beautiful season known as Fall (in some countries) or Autumn (in others).
No matter what you call it, this season produces some of the most spectacular flora going around. Once such example is this amazing ginkgo tree located within the walls of the Gu Guanyin Buddhist Temple in the Zhongnan Mountains in China.
Believe it or not, this tree is 1400 years old and each and every autumn its normally green leaves turn a bright yellow and fall into a golden heap on the temple grounds drawing tourists from the surrounding area.
