Artist Amanda Oleander‘s latest works focuses on the intimate moments of couples that happen behind closed doors.
Speaking of her contemporary style she said, “my style is influenced by artists I studied while getting my BFA, such as Modigliani, Alice Neel, and Picasso. But I am also very influenced by cartoons I watched as a child”
The artist draws inspiration from her own experiences as well as her friends and family. She admits to being enthralled by the little moments that often occur unconsciously but which impact significantly on whom we are.
